For the last show of 2022 (and the last before a few-month hiatus for Maya's maternity leave), Ben and Maya will host a conversation about the new Harold Washington documentary, Punch 9, featuring clips from the film and a discussion with 5th Ward alderwoman Leslie Hairston and 33rd Ward alderwoman Rossana Rodriguez. We'll talk about the history of attempts at progressive policymaking in the City Council and, with an election looming, the future prospects of the Council as a more progressive body.
