About

21+//10 pm Doors

Breathwork refers to any breathing exercise or technique.

People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Exhale is breathwork in its most radical form. smallWORLD Collective welcomes you to take a community breath in the name of healing and spiritual connection. We dance to channel our ancestors; we dance to channel strength…we dance to heal. Inhaling community agreements to exhale collective liberation is the theme and mission. We access this by evoking our truest selves through twerking, footwork, and melodic blends against a backdrop of Black Feminism that prioritizes the Black trans experience. We are exhaling the BS and inhaling the love and the soul of Black queer liberation. Black, queer, fat, trans, non-binary folks and everyone else who lives at the intersection of marginalized identities deserves a space that’s more than just body positive, it’s celebratory.

Mocha Mocha 2.0 & Risqué Noir will be our gogo dancing muses for the night, inspiring movement, confidence, and empowerment on the dance floor. Whether you're rocking your favorite lacy thong, a matching silky set, or a pair of comfy shorts, feel liberated to express yourself and breathe easy and let the sound curators for the night, The Lab3l, TORi, & Khali Melon, take you on a journey to dance like nobody’s watching from 10 pm-2 am.
