Fun With Friends Movie Night

Ready for something new? This summer, we’re introducing the 3 F’s… FUN, FRIENDS, & flicks. We’re teaming up with the good folks at Imagenation.us, Driven Society and NYC Parks, to bring you two movie nights under the stars at Herbert Von King Park in the heart of Bed-Stuy. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, some eats, sips, and of course some of your favorite people to enjoy this experience.

The first installment is this Thursday, July 28. Meet us at the park for a live DJ session at 7 p.m., followed by showtime at 8:30 p.m. What flick are we showing first? Well, we’ve only got one question: When did you fall in love with hip-hop? 🎤🥰 That’s right, we are celebrating the on-screen romance of Sydney and Dre. It’s the 20th anniversary of a true New York love story complete with brownstones, rap verses, and a journey of FRIENDS turned lovers and back again. Come out and rediscover, reimagine, and maybe even reassess one of the culture’s most beloved black love stories.

But wait, there’s more, we’ll be back again same time and same place on Thursday, August 25 for… drum roll please 🥁 … Drumline. Delve into the world of HBCU band culture starring everyone’s favorite baby daddy, Nick Cannon. It’s a guaranteed vibe as we take a stroll down memory lane.
